Pre-ACFW-Conference Mix and Mingle

One of my newest writer friends/fellow Genesis Contest finalist, Laurie Tomlinson has created a pre-ACFW-conference mix and mingle on her website. A bunch of us are answering a few "ice-breaker" questions on our websites and linking them to hers HERE.

Here are the questions and my answers!

Name: Dawn Crandall

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana

What you write/tagline: Historical Romantic Suspence, Historical Romance, Contemporary Romance -- all from first person point of view of the heroine.

"Discovering God's Truth... One Character at a Time"

Place in the book world: Pre-published author with two completed (ready to be read by editors) manuscripts, another most of the way there (all three are stand-alones which could be put together as a series), and a contemporary romance I just began.

I am represented by Joyce Hart of Hartline Literary Agency.

On a scale of hugger to 10-foot-pole, please rate your personal space: Halfway in between. :)

The unique talking point that will get you going for hours: Reading, writing, books.

People at home you'll be missing: My husband, Jonathan. Our three cats; Lilly, Pumpkin and Clover.

Conference goals we can pray for? Divine appointments, confidence in speaking... preparing for conference through the fog of pregnancy-brain!

Up for any contests/awards? 2013 Genesis finalist in the romantic suspense category. All three of my manuscripts have been semi-finalists in the Genesis Contest.

Any disclosures, disclaimers, or crucial information we must know? I totally have ADD and this pregnancy is making it worse! I usually function rather well as a writer without taking any meds for it, but this first-trimester is killing any true ADD-functionality I've ever been able to achieve!

***If you participate, please share your link in my comments! I don't want to miss anyone!

Thanks again for linking up!

Thanks, Laurie! It was an ingenious idea in the first place! I think it's that all-out "hugger" in you that gets you going in a way that most of us introverted writer-types aren't able to achieve. :)
